Patients who have suffered a sudden onset hearing loss should be sent for a formal audiogram and then immediately referred to an ENT specialist. There is a limited window of time in which treatment can be administered to rescue hearing. Please let our Receptionist know if your patient has suffered a sudden onset hearing loss.
